The 28th annual Lunar Rendezbrew festival is a celebration of homebrewed craft beer, mead, & cider. Admission includes your food, beer, other beverages, games, and live music. Both commercial and homebrewed beer will be on tap of a wide variety of styles from some of the best homebrewers in the city of Houston. You can help select the People's Choice award by sampling all the beers at the event and voting. The doors open at 2:00 pm with the JP Pierce Band on stage throughout the afternoon. The awards announcements for the homebrew competition will take place at 5:00 pm. There will be a silent auction in person as well as online throughout the event that will close at 7:00 pm. This will be a kid friendly event with activities for the youngsters including our traditional paper airplane competition and a coloring station. Kids 10 and under get in free. For those in the 11-20 range, the cost will be $12 to offset the food and some expenses. All over 21 admissions without exception will be $30 in the online presale and $40 at the door. This event is also the culmination of the Lunar Rendezbrew 28 homebrew competition that has taken place over the past couple of months. Entries from top brewers across the country came in with 617 entries received making this the third largest homebrew competition in the nation this year. The awards ceremony for this will be a part of the festival and live streamed on our YouTube channel. We are required to run this as a private club event, so any admissions will cover a required membership registration with Mashtronauts, Inc, the 501c4 corporation for our social club, the Bay Area Mashtronauts.
