If you’ve never seen 5,000 Santas racing along the beach, you’ll have your chance Sunday Dec. 16 when Galveston hosts a wacky holiday race – the Santa Hustle. This holiday half-marathon and 5K event will be a “jolly good time” and one to be remembered as participants receive a Santa hat and beard, a performance hoodie and 5K or half marathon finisher medal. Participants will also be able to stop at cookie stations and enjoy festive music plus outrageous holiday decorations along their routes. The races, put on by Adrenaline Sports Management, start and finish at Moody Gardens and will run along the beachfront on scenic Seawall Boulevard.
