The perennial fairy tale favorite, Cinderella, will be a special treat during its four performances from February 19 - 21 at the University of Houston-Clear Lake’s theater in the Bayou Building.  Performances will be Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

This two-act, full-length ballet will follow the legendary Cinderella from her dark days by the kitchen fireplace to the encounter with a Fairy Godmother that led her to everlasting happiness.

The role of Cinderella will be danced by Laura Massague, and the Prince will be Javier Morales.  Both formerly performed with the National Ballet of Cuba.  Melissa Ludwig performs the role of the Fairy Godmother.  All three are currently Artists in Residence with the Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre.  This promises to be an enchanting production for young and old alike.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the BAHBT office at 281 480-1617 or by going on-line at
