How long have you been a bartender + How long at Easy Street: I've been bartender a little over 5 years, and I've been here at Easy Street for about 2 and a half years.

What do you love about working at Easy Street? The people I work with are great! We all get along and work together to make new drinks and make the bar better. The owners give us so much freedom to create and plan cool events and parties and are open to all the ideas we have. -- And our customers! They are amazing. We are like “Cheers.” Come on in a few times, and you'll feel right at home in no time. It's just like a giant family.

YOUR favorite day of the week to work at Easy Street & why? Friday of course! We have a live band and everybody is just cutting loose and dancing and having a great time which puts a big dorky smile on my face.

Do you have a Signature drink? I take alot of pride in my Bloody Marys. All of the veggies we put in our Bloody Marys are locally made by friends of Easy Street, so they are unlike anywhere else. To me, it's like creating art.

What makes a great bartender: (1) Personality is key. Nobody wants a boring bartender. You must be eager to learn. Bartending is a learning curve, and there is not a bartender in the WORLD who knows it all. There's always room for improvement. (2) Patience is a must. Not everybody knows what they want to drink. People like to talk to their bartender. Whether it's good news or bad, they want to tell you about it. 3) And as much as we try here at Easy Street, you can't make everyone happy all the time, which can be frustrating. But you still try with a polite smile on your face.

Are there any new drinks you're excited about serving? We are always coming up with new things. There are so many, I wouldn't know where to start! And each one of us has different new favorites, so you are just going to have to come in and ask!

When not at work: I love spending time with my family. We are VERY close. And I have the most precious nephew! He melts my heart. I also just rented a house, and I'm having a blast fixing it up. 5 words that best describe you: Spunky, crazy, caring, sassy, loving

Did you have a connection to Easy Street before you were hired there? Nope, but the first time I walked in to check out the place, I fell in love!

Best tip you've ever gotten: I have such amazing regulars that I couldn't pick out the "best" tip. My people are very generous. What do you love about Bartending? The challenge! There is always room for improvement.
