Books, books, and more books. Her favorite book is “The Rescue” by Nicholas Sparks. Sparks is known for romance and emotion, so we have to ask about the romance department. Laurie says her Mr. Right must love kids!

Here, there, and everywhere! The well-spoken bartender was born in California, but grew up in Del Rio, Texas, before moving to Houston. Laurie has traveled to extensively with Alaska and Georgia standing out in her mind and being “really different than expected.” She loves calling Webster home now.

The funny thing about traveling… She would get asked a lot about Texans “driving our horses” and people wondering where her cowboy hat and boots were. Truth be told, she is partial to flip-flops!
