Noah’s Ark Bar & Grill

The party animals, families, bikers, singles, couples, the young, and the young at heart know that Noah’s Ark Bar & Grill has the best crew and view on the Galveston Bay! Everyone is welcome to 4438 Boulevard in Bacliff seven days a week.

The restaurant serves up tasty signature items that are sure to please.  Order a “Hot” appetizer of Chicks (chicken), Mermaids (shrimp), Cats (catfish), or Pearls (oysters). Creative names for delicious dishes that all come wrapped in bacon and jalapeño pepper, then battered and deep fried. Noah’s Ark has served “over 2x 2 million oysters” grilled in the half-shell in many different flavors.

In addition to po-boys, wraps, subs, and baskets, the kitchen offers a popular fried meatloaf sandwich and hearty Angus beef, flame-broiled hamburgers. The “Noah” (a third- or half-pound patty, two pieces of bacon, two pieces of Swiss cheese, sauteed onions, and grilled jalapenos on the side) and the “Hawg” (a one-pound patty with two slices of bacon, Swiss and American cheese) burgers both are customer favorites.

Noah Ark’s comfort food is served up as a “Blue Plate Special” in small and large. Order it Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to receive the “Early Bird Special” and knock a dollar off each plate. Other daily specials that rotate throughout the week include the shrimp dinner made blackened, beer battered, hot and spicy, coconut, lemon pepper, Cajun, sweet and sour, (and the choices go on!) the pork roast dinner, all-you-can-eat-spaghetti, and more.

Dinner time is the right time to select one of Noah’s favorites for dinner. The restaurant has fresh seafood made grilled or fried and juicy steaks made to order. You may have a hard time deciding on just one, so go for a combination platter.

But don’t forget about the most important meal of the day! Noah’s Ark breakfast menu is as yummy as it is extensive. A breakfast buffet is offered on Sunday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays are also home for a triple drink special. Order a Bloody Mary, Mimosa, or a Screwdriver for only $2 each. Speaking of drinks, Noah’s Ark has an Oyster Shooter that pairs an oyster with vodka, Bloody Mary mix, Tabasco, and served in a shot glass. And their newest addition to their drink menu is a margarita infused with an upside down 7-ounce Corona called a “Coronita Rita.”

So, grab a drink, bring your friends, order a delectable treat, and take a seat anywhere on the multiple decks outside or upstairs. The bay breeze will wash your cares away. Time it on a Friday night and enjoy the Parrot Head party and live music. If you like indoor games, join in one of the many Texas Hold 'em poker games that are held throughout the week. Hosting an event is easy when you book the venue’s Lion Den party room. It seats up to 40 people, and it’s free! Call 281-339-2895 to reserve.

Noah’s Ark has been at its current location for over 15 years. Owners Fred and Beverly Lyttle have 30 years experience in the restaurant industry. If you are looking for somewhere casual and friendly, then you have found it. The Lyttle’s lend their support to non-profit organizations throughout the year including the Houston SPCA Animal Adoption Center.
