Readers will recall our mention of an interesting fitness event called the "Safari Run" held at League City's Village Fair.

The SCENE joined up with the local entourage of Cross Fit Bay Area [https://www.facebook.com/pages/CrossFit-Bay-Area] to this year's "Mud Run" nationwide stop in Houston at the Sam Houston Race Park.

Zest and spirit these contestants carry forth is utmost and none of what we saw was faked or posed -- It's all real and from the looks of it, serious fun!
