Winding up the month of April with perhaps the best weather of the entire month has The SCENE at Kemah's annual Blessing of the Fleet.

Kicking things off was The Kingpins, an acoustic duo of John McBride & Eddie Hughens pulling off what could be best described as the 'unplugged' versions from the father of Alternative Rock, Alice Cooper. Perhaps a 'Bravo' is on order? :-)

Headlining the Friday list are The Navigators, an area favorite and one of the first bands covered by Loose Notes. The integrity this band plays with is remarkable.

Tomorrow is Country & Western and Sunday is Bluegrass. Get your chores done and come on out!
