Texas Hippie Connection declares 4/20 a Holiday! Huge party planned!

Apr 20, 2011 03:53PM ● By John Ennis
Apparently today's date holds significance to many American's as special events are scheduled from New York City to San Fransisco and many places in between. (Including most college campuses ;-)

And the Clear Lake / Bay Area is no exception as the Texas Hippie Connection in Seabrook, a Hookah Bar and Custom Glass Emporium, located at 2234 Nasa Parkway (map below), will be hosting a celebration today on the grandest scale.

Today's festivities, which we are told start at 4:20pm, will include live music featuring bands Shark Attack, Mama Tried and Footpie.

There will be bungee jumping, rockwall climbing, facepainting, ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAWFISH, a big screen tv raffle, parking lot vendors of more. Entrance is free but a $10 investment instantly makes you a VIP which gets you all-u-can-eat crawfish and all-u-can-drink beverages.

Because of the scale of this event, don't plan to park at THC. Parking will be available in the lot next door to Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack at 310 Texas Ave in Kemah (see map). There will be a free shuttle service available making round trips all day. We are told the bus can hold approx 20 people at a time and the first bus will leave at 4:00 sharp and run round trips all day after that.

In addition to crawfish, other munchies that will be available include Hooters Wings, fajitas, funnel cake, sausage on a stick and "maybe" roasted corn. Contact THC at 281-957-9213 for more info.
