Description: Located in a trendy area where the cities of League City (South Shore Harbour), Clear Lake Shores and Kemah meet, Matt's Restaurant and Lounge is making a name for itself. As you might expect, the venue is operated by a Matt, Matt Smith. Matt retired last year as Food and Beverage Director from Lakewood Yacht Club but was talked into cutting the retirement short and opening his own place.  Matt's serves continental cuisine in a warm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Inside, you will immediately notice the wide variety of seating options (plush white leather booths, brown leather couches and plenty of dark wood tables and chairs), long bar with stone columns, huge visible wine rack and modern art and classic pieces covering the walls. The menu offers a wide variety of options including appetizers (stuffed mushrooms, bacon-wrapped shrimp), soups (Navy bean, seafood gumbo), salads (grilled chicken, tuna), sandwiches (hamburger, blackened wrap), seafood (tilapia Portofino, mahi mahi), chicken (fried, grilled), chops, steaks, veal and luscious desserts (Italian crème cake, lemon ice box pie). There are also daily lunch specials during weekdays and others available throughout the week like a specially priced seafood buffet on Mondays, homestyle night (chicken fried steak, pot roast, etc.) on Tuesdays and a breakfast buffet for Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
