BuzzFest XXV

"LOOSENOTES - Seems like the world's gone wacky? Then it's time to check out something new & take it in, which is what many are doing this days... At Cynthia's Pavillion, we blended with the 16 minute sellout crowd and 14 bands for BuzzFest 25. Twas great energy on the side stage and massive sound on the main. A.D. Rowntree (host of Sunday night Buzznight at the Scout Bar) introduced us to New Politics. If you missed them, it might be awhile before you see them live again as they're from Denmark. Fun and energetic, this group instantly plopped onto our favorite "watch for" list. Over on the main stage, Papa Roach easily would have stolen the show had not BUSH make a "never thought we'd see them again" appearance. Sick Puppies had tidal waves of body surfers surfing as they headlined the side stage and Godsmack wrapped up the mainstage louder than Grand Funk Railroad in 1974--We were at both shows, we can say... :-) "
